Lyrics, Covers & Instrumentals
Want to know about me and my music?
This is me - - this is my music - -
There are some lyrics, and in some cases, various corresponding audio files, to go along with the songs which I have either written by myself or co-written with others (as noted). Also, in other cases, there are cover tunes I've done which were not written by me. You can filter songs by genre below, and then, click on each song to hear it, and in some cases, when there are lyrics, you can read the lyrics.

The songs here vary, style-wise from folk to country, to country/folk, to Christian, to easy listening, blues/rock and then pop. Be sure to check back soon, since I'll probably be adding more.
Big News!!
I have 5 albumsthat are now live and may be either bought or streamed individually in ITunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and others.

And, of course, many of my songs are available for purchase and streaming on REVERBNATION .

Who Threw The First Stone?
(David Wier w/lyrics by David Wier & Sheila Yelverton)

Verse 1:
The White lace has faded on the dress that you wore
Our marriage license is wrinkled & torn
The dreams that we shared are all shattered apart
The only thing left - is two broken hearts

Chorus :

We are married & lonely - just wasting away
We look at each other - with nothing to say
Living together - yet so all alone
Who broke the first promise?
Who threw the first stone?

Verse 2 :

Condemning each other - just doesn't seem right
I no longer kiss you - or hold you at night
I watch TV while you talk on the phone
No parties - no going out - just staying at home

Repeat Chorus

We once had a good love, so why should quit?
We could call in the lawyers - or forgive & forget
If miracles could happen - we could sure use a few
The love we knew was living proof - dreams can come true

Repeat Chorus
