Lyrics, Covers & Instrumentals
Want to know about me and my music?
This is me - - this is my music - -
There are some lyrics, and in some cases, various corresponding audio files, to go along with the songs which I have either written by myself or co-written with others (as noted). Also, in other cases, there are cover tunes I've done which were not written by me. You can filter songs by genre below, and then, click on each song to hear it, and in some cases, when there are lyrics, you can read the lyrics.

The songs here vary, style-wise from folk to country, to country/folk, to Christian, to easy listening, blues/rock and then pop. Be sure to check back soon, since I'll probably be adding more.
Big News!!
I have 5 albumsthat are now live and may be either bought or streamed individually in ITunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and others.

And, of course, many of my songs are available for purchase and streaming on REVERBNATION .

(David Wier)

Verse 1:
There're children dyin' in Ireland tonight
There're children dyin' in Ireland tonight
When will we stop & finally see - our children are our destiny
There're children dyin' in Ireland tonight
Verse 2:
There're children dyin' in Bosnia tonight
There're children dyin' in Bosnia tonight
Life's too short; it's meant to be cherished in totality
There're children dyin' in Bosnia tonight
Verse 3:
There're children dyin' in America's streets tonight
There're children dyin' in America's streets tonight
We've gotta stop this agony - it's so clear now; why can't we see?
There're children dyin' in America's streets tonight
Verse 4:
There're children dyin' in America's homes tonight
There're children dyin' in America's homes tonight
It's so close that it's hard to see - we become each other's enemy
There're children dyin' in America's homes tonight

There're children dyin' everywhere - we'd better finally start to care
`Cause there're children dyin' everywhere tonight.
